He became far more relevant to the younger generation, who got the joke when he showed up in the movie Wayne’s World in 1992. The second version has the model’s breasts covered with a corset. There are two versions of the video since the first was censored due to a topless Rana Kennedy. The refreshing nuance made this a fun party track. 'Spark In The Dark' is also a great track with some groovy riffs but 'House of Fire' stole my attention. The anthemic 'Poison' is a great album opener with its catchy chorus. This was Cooper’s first music video to get rotation on MTV tapping him into the MTV audience for the first time. This album is Coopers best-selling release and thanks to the several singles that were aired intensively back in the days. After a spell in Detroit where they soaked up the high-energy influence of the Stooges and the MC5, Alice Cooper scored. The song tied “School’s Out” for Cooper’s highest US chart placing at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100. The name Alice Cooper originally referred to both the band and its lead singer (born Vincent Furnier), as they played dark, eccentric, psychedelic rock on their first two albums, Pretties for You (1969) and Easy Action (1970). Since the mid-80s, Cooper has worked to help fellow rock musicians overcome their addictions. Whether Cooper had any first-hand experience of heroin at the time he wrote the song is open to debate.
